Joanne Probyn
Creative Director and Designer
Joanne’s accomplishments over the past 15 years have established her as an award winning art director, designer, teacher and artist. Joanne Probyn Media is based in Vancouver on Canada’s beautiful West Coast. She started her career launching a design business while still in school and later worked in some of Vancouver’s top boutique design firms. Her portfolio now includes local and international clients such as the Saudi Crown Prince, Johnson & Johnson, Olympus America and Weyerhaeuser. She has lived and worked in New York and San Francisco. While in NYC, she worked for PRWeek’s “Agency of the Year”, Chandler Chicco, where she developed specialized knowledge in healthcare and pharmaceuticals advertising and design. Recent clients include one of the world’s largest RE/MAX offices (over 450 agents), Vancouver’s 3rd largest law firm Davis LLP, Infinity Yacht Charters and Spirit Bear Adventures. Joanne recently spearheaded a successful Social Media Marketing initiative for Artists in our Midst, one of Vancouver’s largest open studio art tours. Joanne’s role includes business development, project management, creative direction, marketing, usability and design. Tzaddi is one of our key designer/developers. With a fine arts degree from Emily Carr, Internet training from UBC, and 10 years of varied industry experience, Tzaddi is uniquely positioned to combine creative flair and technical expertise with a passion to make delightful user experiences. Tzaddi enjoys empowering clients with the ability to maintain their own sites by building many of her sites in WordPress. She believes that websites are a lot like plants: they grow stronger with regular nourishment and careful pruning. Her work has included design and development for TELUS, Fjord Interactive/Cossette, Bluelime Media, Capulet Communications and a number of smaller businesses.
Hugh Chapman

Hugh is a WordPress Development and UI guru. He’s been a web developer from “day one” and is now international award winning talent. Hugh’s a proud recipient of Yahoo’s “Site of the Week” award. For over 13 years, Hugh has been developing innovative web sites for a multitude of satisfied customers. You’ll find Hugh endlessly exploring the latest web site tricks whenever he’s not burning up the floor ballroom dancing. Educated in Vancouver, Canada, Hugh now lives in San Francisco the heart of America’s high tech industry.

Joanne has taught design project management and painting. In 2008, she enjoyed being a session instructor at Haro Park Centre where she taught painting to older adults. While in New York, Joanne was part of a mentoring program facilitated by the New York School Board and Manhattan’s High School of Art and Design, a specialized school for the artistically gifted. With the support of her employer, Chandler Chicco Agency, the goal was to enable the mentee to excel both personally and professionally. Through the program, Joanne was able to help her mentee obtain her first computer. This mentoring relationship has continued over several years.
